19/87 | None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. |
لَّا يَمْلِكُونَ الشَّفَاعَةَ إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّخَذَ عِندَ الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَهْدًا |
2 337 |
19/88 | They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" |
وَقَالُوا اتَّخَذَ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وَلَدًا |
2 338 |
19/89 | Indeed ye have put forth a thing most monstrous! |
لَّقَدْ جِئْتُمْ شَيْئًا إِدًّا |
2 339 |
19/90 | At it the skies are ready to burst, the earth to split asunder, and the mountains to fall down in utter ruin, |
تَكَادُ السَّمَاوَاتُ يَتَفَطَّرْنَ مِنْهُ وَتَنشَقُّ الْأَرْضُ وَتَخِرُّ الْجِبَالُ هَدًّا |
2 340 |
19/91 | That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. |
أَن دَعَوْا لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ وَلَدًا |
2 341 |
19/92 | For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. |
وَمَا يَنبَغِي لِلرَّحْمَٰنِ أَن يَتَّخِذَ وَلَدًا |
2 342 |
19/93 | Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant. |
إِن كُلُّ مَن فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ إِلَّا آتِي الرَّحْمَٰنِ عَبْدًا |
2 343 |
19/94 | He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. |
لَّقَدْ أَحْصَاهُمْ وَعَدَّهُمْ عَدًّا |
2 344 |
19/95 | And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. |
وَكُلُّهُمْ آتِيهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَرْدًا |
2 345 |
19/96 | On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. |
إِنَّ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا وَعَمِلُوا الصَّالِحَاتِ سَيَجْعَلُ لَهُمُ الرَّحْمَٰنُ وُدًّا |
2 346 |
19/97 | So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. |
فَإِنَّمَا يَسَّرْنَاهُ بِلِسَانِكَ لِتُبَشِّرَ بِهِ الْمُتَّقِينَ وَتُنذِرَ بِهِ قَوْمًا لُّدًّا |
2 347 |
19/98 | But how many (countless) generations before them have We destroyed? Canst thou find a single one of them (now) or hear (so much as) a whisper of them? |
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هَلْ تُحِسُّ مِنْهُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَوْ تَسْمَعُ لَهُمْ رِكْزًا |

20/1 | Ta-Ha. |
بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ طه |
2 349 |
20/2 | We have not sent down the Qur'an to thee to be (an occasion) for thy distress, |
مَا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْقُرْآنَ لِتَشْقَىٰ |
2 350 |
20/3 | But only as an admonition to those who fear (Allah),- |
إِلَّا تَذْكِرَةً لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰ |
2 351 |
20/4 | A revelation from Him Who created the earth and the heavens on high. |
تَنزِيلًا مِّمَّنْ خَلَقَ الْأَرْضَ وَالسَّمَاوَاتِ الْعُلَى |
2 352 |
20/5 | (Allah) Most Gracious is firmly established on the throne (of authority). |
الرَّحْمَٰنُ عَلَى الْعَرْشِ اسْتَوَىٰ |
2 353 |
20/6 | To Him belongs what is in the heavens and on earth, and all between them, and all beneath the soil. |
لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا وَمَا تَحْتَ الثَّرَىٰ |
2 354 |
20/7 | If thou pronounce the word aloud, (it is no matter): for verily He knoweth what is secret and what is yet more hidden. |
وَإِن تَجْهَرْ بِالْقَوْلِ فَإِنَّهُ يَعْلَمُ السِّرَّ وَأَخْفَى |
2 355 |
20/8 | Allah! there is no god but He! To Him belong the most Beautiful Names. |
اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ لَهُ الْأَسْمَاءُ الْحُسْنَىٰ |
2 356 |
20/9 | Has the story of Moses reached thee? |
وَهَلْ أَتَاكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰ |
2 357 |
20/10 | Behold, he saw a fire: So he said to his family, "Tarry ye; I perceive a fire; perhaps I can bring you some burning brand therefrom, or find some guidance at the fire." |
إِذْ رَأَىٰ نَارًا فَقَالَ لِأَهْلِهِ امْكُثُوا إِنِّي آنَسْتُ نَارًا لَّعَلِّي آتِيكُم مِّنْهَا بِقَبَسٍ أَوْ أَجِدُ عَلَى النَّارِ هُدًى |
2 358 |
20/11 | But when he came to the fire, a voice was heard: "O Moses! |
فَلَمَّا أَتَاهَا نُودِيَ يَا مُوسَىٰ |
2 359 |
20/12 | Verily I am thy Lord! therefore (in My presence) put off thy shoes: thou art in the sacred valley Tuwa. |
إِنِّي أَنَا رَبُّكَ فَاخْلَعْ نَعْلَيْكَ ۖ إِنَّكَ بِالْوَادِ الْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى |
2 360 |
20/13 | I have chosen thee: listen, then, to the inspiration (sent to thee). |
وَأَنَا اخْتَرْتُكَ فَاسْتَمِعْ لِمَا يُوحَىٰ |
2 361 |
20/14 | Verily, I am Allah: There is no god but I: So serve thou Me (only), and establish regular prayer for celebrating My praise. |
إِنَّنِي أَنَا اللَّهُ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا أَنَا فَاعْبُدْنِي وَأَقِمِ الصَّلَاةَ لِذِكْرِي |
2 362 |
20/15 | Verily the Hour is coming - My design is to keep it hidden - for every soul to receive its reward by the measure of its Endeavour. |
إِنَّ السَّاعَةَ آتِيَةٌ أَكَادُ أُخْفِيهَا لِتُجْزَىٰ كُلُّ نَفْسٍ بِمَا تَسْعَىٰ |
2 363 |
20/16 | Therefore let not such as believe not therein but follow their own lusts, divert thee therefrom, lest thou perish!.. |
فَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكَ عَنْهَا مَن لَّا يُؤْمِنُ بِهَا وَاتَّبَعَ هَوَاهُ فَتَرْدَىٰ |
2 364 |
20/17 | And what is that in the right hand, O Moses? |
وَمَا تِلْكَ بِيَمِينِكَ يَا مُوسَىٰ |
2 365 |
20/18 | He said, "It is my rod: on it I lean; with it I beat down fodder for my flocks; and in it I find other uses." |
قَالَ هِيَ عَصَايَ أَتَوَكَّأُ عَلَيْهَا وَأَهُشُّ بِهَا عَلَىٰ غَنَمِي وَلِيَ فِيهَا مَآرِبُ أُخْرَىٰ |
2 366 |
20/19 | (Allah) said, "Throw it, O Moses!" |
قَالَ أَلْقِهَا يَا مُوسَىٰ |
2 367 |
20/20 | He threw it, and behold! It was a snake, active in motion. |
فَأَلْقَاهَا فَإِذَا هِيَ حَيَّةٌ تَسْعَىٰ |
2 368 |
