وقالوا هلم نبن لانفسنا مدينة وبرجا راسه بالسماء. ونصنع لانفسنا اسما لئلا نتبدد على وجه كل الارض.
Sonra, "Kendimize bir kent kuralım" dediler, "Göklere erişecek bir kule dikip ün salalım. Böylece yeryüzüne dağılmayız."
And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
Et ils dirent: Allons, bâtissons-nous une ville et une pyramide (tour), dont le sommet soit dans les cieux, et faisons-nous une réputation, de peur que nous ne soyons dispersés sur la face de toute la terre.
und sprachen: Wohlauf, laßt uns eine Stadt und Turm bauen, des Spitze bis an den Himmel reiche, daß wir uns einen Namen machen; denn wir werden vielleicht zerstreuet in alle Länder.
И сказали они: построим себе город и башню, высотою до небес, и сделаем себе имя, прежде нежели рассеемся по лицу всей земли.
فنزل الرب لينظر المدينة والبرج اللذين كان بنو آدم يبنونهما.
RAB insanların yaptığı kentle kuleyi görmek için aşağıya indi.
And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
Et l'Éternel, sous la forme de Melchisédec, descendit pour voir la ville et la pyramide qu'avaient bâties les fils d'Adam.
Da fuhr der HERR hernieder, daß er sähe die Stadt und Turm, die die Menschenkinder baueten.
И сошел Господь посмотреть город и башню, которые строили сыны человеческие.
وقال الرب هوذا شعب واحد ولسان واحد لجميعهم وهذا ابتداؤهم بالعمل. والآن لا يمتنع عليهم كل ما ينوون ان يعملوه.
"Tek bir halk olup aynı dili konuşarak bunu yapmaya başladıklarına göre, düşündüklerini gerçekleştirecek, hiçbir engel tanımayacaklar" dedi,
And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Et l'Éternel dit: Voici, c'est un seul peuple, et ils ont tous le même langage, et voilà ce qu'ils commencent à faire; et maintenant rien ne les empêchera d'exécuter tout ce qu'ils ont projeté.
Und der HERR sprach: Siehe, es ist einerlei Volk und einerlei Sprache unter ihnen allen, und haben das angefangen zu tun; sie werden nicht ablassen von allem, das sie vorgenommen haben zu tun.
И сказал Господь: вот, один народ, и один у всех язык; и вот что начали они делать, и не отстанут они от того, что задумали делать;
هلم ننزل ونبلبل هناك لسانهم حتى لا يسمع بعضهم لسان بعض.
"Gelin, aşağı inip dillerini karıştıralım ki, birbirlerini anlamasınlar."
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
Allons, descendons, et débordons leur rive, en sorte qu'ils ne comprennent plus le langage l'un de l'autre.
Wohlauf, laßt uns herniederfahren und ihre Sprache daselbst verwirren, daß keiner des andern Sprache vernehme.
сойдем же и смешаем там язык их, так чтобы одинне понимал речи другого.
فبددهم الرب من هناك على وجه كل الارض. فكفّوا عن بنيان المدينة.
Böylece RAB onları yeryüzüne dağıtarak kentin yapımını durdurdu.
So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
Et l'Éternel fracassa en fragments toute la face du Continent, et ils cessèrent d'étendre leur empire.
Also zerstreuete sie der HERR von dannen in alle Länder, daß sie mußten aufhören, die Stadt zu bauen.
И рассеял их Господь оттуда по всей земле; и они перестали строить город.
لذلك دعي اسمها بابل. لان الرب هناك بلبل لسان كل الارض. ومن هناك بددهم الرب على وجه كل الارض
Bu nedenle kente Babilfş adı verildi. Çünkü RAB bütün insanların dilini orada karıştırmış ve onları yeryüzünün dört bucağına dağıtmıştı.
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
C'est pourquoi son nom fut appelé Babel (confusion , la porte des dieux); car l'Éternel y confondit le langage de toute la terre, et de là l'Éternel les dispersa sur toute la face de la terre.
Daher heißt ihr Name Babel, daß der HERR daselbst verwirret hatte aller Länder Sprache und sie zerstreuet von dannen in alle Länder.
Посему дано ему имя: Вавилон, ибо там смешал Господь язык всей земли, и оттуда рассеял их Господь по всей земле.
هذه مواليد سام. لما كان سام ابن مئة سنة ولد ارفكشاد بعد الطوفان بسنتين.

Arpakşatın doğumundan sonra Sam 500 yıl daha yaşadı. Başka oğulları, kızları oldu.
And Shem lived after he begat Arphaxad five hundred years, and begat sons and daughters.

Arpakşat 35 yaşındayken oğlu Şelah doğdu.
And Arphaxad lived five and thirty years, and begat Salah:
Et Arpacshad vécut trente-cinq ans, et engendra Shélach.
Arphachsad war fünfunddreißig Jahre alt und zeugete Salah;
Арфаксад жил тридцать пять лет и родил Салу.
وعاش ارفكشاد بعدما ولد شالح اربع مئة وثلث سنين وولد بنين وبنات.
Şelahın doğumundan sonra Arpakşat 403 yıl daha yaşadı. Başka oğulları, kızları oldu. doğdu. Kenanın doğumundan sonra Arpakşat 430 yıl daha yaşadı. Başka oğulları, kızları oldu. Kenan 130 yaşındayken oğlu Şelah doğdu. Şelahın doğumundan sonra Kenan 330 yıl daha yaşadı. Başka oğulları, kızları oldu" (bkz. Luk.3:35-36).
And Arphaxad lived after he begat Salah four hundred and three years, and begat sons and daughters.
Et Arpacshad, après qu'il eut engendré Shélach, vécut quatre cent trois ans; et il engendra des fils et des filles.
und lebte danach vierhundertunddrei Jahre und zeugete Söhne und Töchter.
По рождении Салы Арфаксад жил четыреста три года и родил сынов и дочерей.
