109 |
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. |
وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
3 041 |
|
110 |
So fear Allah and obey me." |
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
3 042 |
|
111 |
They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?" |
۞ قَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ لَكَ وَاتَّبَعَكَ الْأَرْذَلُونَ |
3 043 |
|
112 |
He said, "And what is my knowledge of what they used to do? |
قَالَ وَمَا عِلْمِي بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ |
3 044 |
|
113 |
Their account is only upon my Lord, if you [could] perceive. |
إِنْ حِسَابُهُمْ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّي ۖ لَوْ تَشْعُرُونَ |
3 045 |
|
114 |
And I am not one to drive away the believers. |
وَمَا أَنَا بِطَارِدِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
3 046 |
|
115 |
I am only a clear warner." |
إِنْ أَنَا إِلَّا نَذِيرٌ مُّبِينٌ |
3 047 |
|
116 |
They said, "If you do not desist, O Noah, you will surely be of those who are stoned." |
قَالُوا لَئِن لَّمْ تَنتَهِ يَا نُوحُ لَتَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْمَرْجُومِينَ |
3 048 |
|
117 |
He said, "My Lord, indeed my people have denied me. |
قَالَ رَبِّ إِنَّ قَوْمِي كَذَّبُونِ |
3 049 |
|
118 |
Then judge between me and them with decisive judgement and save me and those with me of the believers." |
فَافْتَحْ بَيْنِي وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَتْحًا وَنَجِّنِي وَمَن مَّعِيَ مِنَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |
3 050 |
|
119 |
So We saved him and those with him in the laden ship. |
فَأَنجَيْنَاهُ وَمَن مَّعَهُ فِي الْفُلْكِ الْمَشْحُونِ |
3 051 |
|
120 |
Then We drowned thereafter the remaining ones. |
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا بَعْدُ الْبَاقِينَ |
3 052 |
|
121 |
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. |
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ |
3 053 |
|
122 |
And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. |
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ |
3 054 |
|
123 |
Aad denied the messengers |
كَذَّبَتْ عَادٌ الْمُرْسَلِينَ |
3 055 |
|
124 |
When their brother Hud said to them, "Will you not fear Allah? |
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ هُودٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ |
3 056 |
|
125 |
Indeed, I am to you a trustworthy messenger. |
إِنِّي لَكُمْ رَسُولٌ أَمِينٌ |
3 057 |
|
126 |
So fear Allah and obey me. |
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
3 058 |
|
127 |
And I do not ask you for it any payment. My payment is only from the Lord of the worlds. |
وَمَا أَسْأَلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍ ۖ إِنْ أَجْرِيَ إِلَّا عَلَىٰ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |

Do you construct on every elevation a sign, amusing yourselves, |
أَتَبْنُونَ بِكُلِّ رِيعٍ آيَةً تَعْبَثُونَ |
3 060 |
|
129 |
And take for yourselves palaces and fortresses that you might abide eternally? |
وَتَتَّخِذُونَ مَصَانِعَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَخْلُدُونَ |
3 061 |
|
130 |
And when you strike, you strike as tyrants. |
وَإِذَا بَطَشْتُم بَطَشْتُمْ جَبَّارِينَ |
3 062 |
|
131 |
So fear Allah and obey me. |
فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَأَطِيعُونِ |
3 063 |
|
132 |
And fear He who provided you with that which you know, |
وَاتَّقُوا الَّذِي أَمَدَّكُم بِمَا تَعْلَمُونَ |
3 064 |
|
133 |
Provided you with grazing livestock and children |
أَمَدَّكُم بِأَنْعَامٍ وَبَنِينَ |
3 065 |
|
134 |
And gardens and springs. |
وَجَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ |
3 066 |
|
135 |
Indeed, I fear for you the punishment of a terrible day." |
إِنِّي أَخَافُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَذَابَ يَوْمٍ عَظِيمٍ |
3 067 |
|
136 |
They said, "It is all the same to us whether you advise or are not of the advisors. |
قَالُوا سَوَاءٌ عَلَيْنَا أَوَعَظْتَ أَمْ لَمْ تَكُن مِّنَ الْوَاعِظِينَ |
3 068 |
|
137 |
This is not but the custom of the former peoples, |
إِنْ هَٰذَا إِلَّا خُلُقُ الْأَوَّلِينَ |
3 069 |
|
138 |
And we are not to be punished." |
وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُعَذَّبِينَ |
3 070 |
|
139 |
And they denied him, so We destroyed them. Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. |
فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَأَهْلَكْنَاهُمْ ۗ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ |
3 071 |
|
140 |
And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. |
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ |
