Bir demet mercanköşkotu alın, leğendeki kana batırıp kanı kapılarınızın yan ve üst sövelerine sürün. Sabaha kadar kimse evinden çıkmasın.

And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

Et vous prendrez un bouquet d'hysope; vous le tremperez dans le sang qui sera dans le bassin, et vous aspergerez, du sang qui sera dans le bassin, le linteau et les deux poteaux; et nul de vous ne sortira de la porte de sa maison, jusqu'au matin.

RAB Mısırlıları öldürmek için gelecek, kapılarınızın yan ve üst sövelerindeki kanı görünce üzerinden geçecek, ölüm saçanın evlerinize girip sizi öldürmesine izin vermeyecek.

For the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you.

Et l'Éternel passera pour frapper l'Égypte, et il verra le sang sur le linteau, et sur les deux poteaux; et l'Éternel passera par-dessus la porte, et ne permettra point au destructeur d'entrer dans vos maisons pour frapper.

Denn der, HERR wird umhergehen und die Ägypter plagen. Und wenn er das Blut sehen wird an der Überschwelle und an den zween Pfosten, wird er vor der Tür übergehen und den Verderber nicht in eure Häuser kommen lassen zu plagen.

That ye shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD'S passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

Gece yarısı RAB tahtında oturan firavunun ilk çocuğundan zindandaki tutsağın ilk çocuğuna kadar Mısırdaki bütün insanların ve hayvanların ilk doğanlarını öldürdü.

And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD smote all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

O gece firavunla görevlileri ve bütün Mısırlılar uyandı. Büyük feryat koptu. Çünkü ölüsü olmayan ev yoktu.

And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

Et Pharaon se leva de nuit, lui et tous ses serviteurs, et tous les Égyptiens; et il y eut un grand cri en Égypte, car il n'y avait point de maison où il n'y eût un mort.
