Bu şölen dönemi bitince Eyüp onları çağırtıp kutsardı. Sabah erkenden kalkar, "Çocuklarım günah işlemiş, içlerinden Tanrıya sövmüş olabilirler" diyerek her biri için yakmalık sunu sunardı. Eyüp hep böyle yapardı.

وكان لما دارت ايام الوليمة ان ايوب ارسل فقدسهم وبكّر في الغد واصعد محرقات على عددهم كلهم. لان ايوب قال ربما اخطأ بنيّ وجدفوا على الله في قلوبهم. هكذا كان ايوب يفعل كل الايام

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

and it cometh to pass, when they have gone round the days of the banquet, that Job doth send and sanctify them, and hath risen early in the morning, and caused to ascend burnt-offerings — the number of them all — for Job said, 'Perhaps my sons have sinned, yet blessed God in their heart.' Thus doth Job all the days.
