Şimdi sözümü dikkatle dinler, antlaşmama uyarsanız, bütün uluslar içinde öz halkım olursunuz. Çünkü yeryüzünün tümü benimdir.

Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Siz benim için kâhinler krallığı, kutsal ulus olacaksınız. İsraillilere böyle söyleyeceksin." Tanrıya kurban sunmak gibi dinsel işlerle uğraşan görevli. Kâhinin büyücülük, falcılık, sihirbazlık, gaipten haber vermek gibi işlerle uğraşması söz konusu değildi. Bu uygulamalar Yas.18:9-14 ayetlerinde yasaklanmıştır.

And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Musa gidip halkın ileri gelenlerini çağırdı ve RABbin kendisine buyurduğu her şeyi onlara anlattı.

And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

Bütün halk bir ağızdan, "RABbin söylediği her şeyi yapacağız" diye yanıtladılar. Musa halkın yanıtını RABbe iletti.

And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

Et tout le peuple ensemble répondit et dit: Nous ferons tout ce que l'Éternel a dit. Et Moïse rapporta à l'Éternel les paroles du peuple.

RAB Musaya, "Sana koyu bir bulut içinde geleceğim" dedi, "Öyle ki, seninle konuşurken halk işitsin ve her zaman sana güvensin." Musa halkın söylediklerini RABbe iletti.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto thee in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with thee, and believe thee for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

Et l'Éternel dit à Moïse: Voici, je vais venir à toi dans l'épaisseur de la nuée, afin que le peuple entende quand je te parlerai, et qu'il te croie aussi toujours. Et Moïse rapporta à l'Éternel les paroles du peuple.

Üçüncü güne hazır olsunlar. Çünkü üçüncü gün bütün halkın gözü önünde ben, RAB Sina Dağına ineceğim.

And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

Et qu'ils soient prêts pour le troisième jour; car, le troisième jour, l'Éternel descendra, à la vue de tout le peuple, sur la montagne de Sinaï.

und bereit seien auf den dritten Tag. Denn am dritten Tage wird der HERR vor allem Volk herabfahren auf den Berg Sinai.

Dağın çevresine sınır çiz ve halka de ki, 'Sakın dağa çıkmayın, dağın eteğine de yaklaşmayın! Kim dağa dokunursa, kesinlikle öldürülecektir.

İngilizce:

And thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:

Or, tu prescriras des bornes au peuple tout à l'entour, en disant: Gardez-vous de monter sur la montagne, et d'en toucher le bord. Quiconque touchera la montagne, sera puni de mort.

Und mache dem Volk ein Gehege umher und sprich zu ihnen: Hütet euch, daß ihr nicht auf den Berg steiget, noch sein Ende anrühret; denn wer den Berg anrühret, soll des Todes sterben.

и проведи для народа черту со всех сторон и скажи: берегитесь восходить на гору и прикасаться к подошве ее; всякий, ктоприкоснется к горе, предан будет смерти;

وتقيم للشعب حدودا من كل ناحية قائلا احترزوا من ان تصعدوا الى الجبل او تمسوا طرفه. كل من يمسّ الجبل يقتل قتلا.
