Benden önce görev yapan valiler halka yük oldular. Onlardan kırk şekel gümüşün yanısıra yiyecek ve şarap da aldılar. Uşakları bile halkı ezdi. Ama ben Tanrıdan korktuğum için böyle davranmadım.

ولكن الولاة الاولون الذين قبلي ثقلوا على الشعب واخذوا منهم خبزا وخمرا فضلا عن اربعين شاقلا من الفضة حتى ان غلمانهم تسلطوا على الشعب. واما انا فلم افعل هكذا من اجل خوف الله.

İngilizce: 

But the former governors that had been before me were chargeable unto the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, beside forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.

Les précédents gouverneurs, qui étaient avant moi, opprimaient le peuple et recevaient de lui du pain et du vin, outre quarante sicles d'argent, et même leurs serviteurs dominaient sur le peuple; mais je n'ai pas fait ainsi, par crainte de Dieu.

Denn die vorigen Landpfleger, die vor mir gewesen waren, hatten das Volk beschweret und hatten von ihnen genommen Brot und Wein, dazu auch vierzig Sekel Silbers; auch hatten ihre Knaben mit Gewalt gefahren über das Volk. Ich tat aber nicht also um der Furcht Gottes willen.

А прежние областеначальники, которые были до меня, отягощали народ и брали с них хлеб и вино, кроме сорока сиклей серебра; даже и слуги ихгосподствовали над народом. Я же не делал так по страху Божию.

the former governors who are before me have made themselves heavy on the people, and take of them in bread and wine, besides in silver forty shekels; also, their servants have ruled over the people — and I have not done so, because of the fear of God.
