Et l'Éternel Dieu forma de la terre une descendance de l’homme, une multitude d’êtres vivants à l’image d’Adam dans l’expansion de l’existence sublime de la connaissance de Dieu; et il les fit venir vers Adam, pour qu’il considère leurs accomplissements, et que la position qu'Adam donnerait à chacun des êtres vivants, fût son obligation.
