From Aroer, which is by the brink of the river of Arnon, and from the city that is by the river, even unto Gilead, there was not one city too strong for us: the LORD our God delivered all unto us:

Nun oğlu Yeşu Şittimden gizlice iki casus gönderdi. "Gidip ülkeyi, özellikle de Erihayı araştırın" dedi. Böylece yola çıkan casuslar, Rahav adında bir fahişenin evine gidip geceyi orada geçirdiler.

And Joshua the son of Nun sent out of Shittim two men to spy secretly, saying, Go view the land, even Jericho. And they went, and came into an harlot's house, named Rahab, and lodged there.
