Çünkü İsa, kötü ruha adamın içinden çıkmasını buyurmuştu. Kötü ruh adamı sık sık etkisi altına alıyordu. Adam zincir ve kösteklerle bağlanıp başına nöbetçi konulduğu halde bağlarını paralıyor ve cin tarafından ıssız yerlere sürülüyordu.
