" 'Şabat Gününü tutmalısınız, çünkü sizin için kutsaldır. Kim onun kutsallığını bozarsa, kesinlikle öldürülmeli. O gün çalışan herkes halkının arasından atılmalı.

فتحفظون السبت لانه مقدّس لكم. من دنّسه يقتل قتلا. ان كل من صنع فيه عملا تقطع تلك النفس من بين شعبها.

Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Observez donc le sabbat; car c'est pour vous un jour saint. Ceux qui le profaneront seront punis de mort; si quelqu'un fait une oeuvre en ce jour, cette personne-là sera retranchée du milieu de ses peuples.
