"Ne var ki İsrail halkı rahata kavuşunca yine senin gözünde kötü olanı yaptı. Bu yüzden onları düşmanlarının eline terk ettin. Düşmanları onlara egemen oldu. Yine sana yönelip feryat ettiler. Onları göklerden duydun ve merhametinden ötürü defalarca kurtardın.

ولكن لما استراحوا رجعوا الى عمل الشر قدامك فتركتهم بيد اعدائهم فتسلطوا عليهم ثم رجعوا وصرخوا اليك وانت من السماء سمعت وانقذتهم حسب مراحمك الكثيرة احيانا كثيرة.

But after they had rest, they did evil again before thee: therefore leftest thou them in the hand of their enemies, so that they had the dominion over them: yet when they returned, and cried unto thee, thou heardest them from heaven; and many times didst thou deliver them according to thy mercies;

Mais, dès qu'ils avaient du repos, ils recommençaient à faire le mal devant toi; alors tu les abandonnais entre les mains de leurs ennemis, qui dominaient sur eux. Puis ils recommençaient à crier vers toi, et tu les exauçais des cieux; et maintes fois tu les as délivrés, selon tes miséricordes.
