Böylece RAB atalarına vermeye ant içtiği bütün ülkeyi İsraillilere vermiş oldu. İsrailliler de ülkeyi mülk edinip buraya yerleştiler.

And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein.

RAB atalarına ant içtiği gibi, onları her yönden rahata erdirdi. Düşmanlarından hiçbiri onların önünde tutunamadı. RAB hepsini onların eline teslim etti.

And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand.

And now the LORD your God hath given rest unto your brethren, as he promised them: therefore now return ye, and get you unto your tents, and unto the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the LORD gave you on the other side Jordan.

RABbin kulu Musanın size verdiği buyrukları ve Kutsal Yasayı yerine getirmeye çok dikkat edin. Tanrınız RABbi sevin, tümüyle gösterdiği yolda yürüyün, buyruklarını yerine getirin, Ona bağlı kalın, Ona candan ve yürekten hizmet edin."

But take diligent heed to do the commandment and the law, which Moses the servant of the LORD charged you, to love the LORD your God, and to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and to cleave unto him, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul.

Seulement prenez bien garde de pratiquer le commandement et la loi que Moïse, serviteur de l'Éternel, vous a prescrits: d'aimer l'Éternel votre Dieu, de marcher dans toutes ses voies, de garder ses commandements, et de s'attacher à lui, et de le servir de tout votre cœur et de toute votre âme.
