RAB İsrail halkını cezalandıracak. İsrail halkı suda sallanan bir kamışa dönecek. RAB onları atalarına vermiş olduğu bu iyi topraklardan söküp Fırat Irmağının ötelerine dağıtacak. Çünkü Aşera putlarını dikerek RABbi öfkelendirdiler.

ويضرب الرب اسرائيل كاهتزاز القصب في الماء ويستأصل اسرائيل عن هذه الارض الصالحة التي اعطاها لابائهم ويبدّدهم الى عبر النهر لانهم عملوا سواريهم واغاظوا الرب.

İngilizce:

For the LORD shall smite Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall root up Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.

Et l'Éternel frappera Israël, comme quand le roseau est agité dans l'eau; et il arrachera Israël de dessus ce bon pays qu'il a donné à leurs pères; et il les dispersera au delà du fleuve, parce qu'ils se sont fait des emblèmes d'Ashéra, irritant l'Éternel.

Und der HERR wird Israel schlagen, gleichwie das Rohr im Wasser beweget wird, und wird Israel ausreißen von diesem guten Lande, das er ihren Vätern gegeben hat, und wird sie streuen über das Wasser, darum daß sie ihre Haine gemacht haben, den HERRN zu erzürnen.
