'Firavun bizi salıvermemekte diretince, RAB Mısırda insanların ve hayvanların bütün ilk doğanlarını öldürdü. İşte bunun için hayvanların ilk doğan erkek yavrularını RABbe kurban ediyoruz. İlk doğan erkek çocuklarımızın bedelini ise bir hayvanla ödüyoruz.'

وكان لما تقسى فرعون عن اطلاقنا ان الرب قتل كل بكر في ارض مصر من بكر الناس الى بكر البهائم. لذلك انا اذبح للرب الذكور من كل فاتح رحم وافدي كل بكر من اولادي.

And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that openeth the matrix, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
