Sonra kadın bilgece öğüdüyle bütün halka gitti. Halk Bikri oğlu Şevanın başını kesip Yoava attı. Bunun üzerine Yoav boru çaldı. Adamları kenti bırakıp evlerine gittiler. Yoav da Yeruşalime, kralın yanına döndü.
