Bunun üzerine kral gidip kentin kapısında oturdu. Bütün askerlere, "İşte kral kentin kapısında oturuyor" diye haber salındı. Onlar da kralın yanına geldiler. Bu arada İsrailliler evlerine kaçmışlardı.

فقام الملك وجلس في الباب. فاخبروا جميع الشعب قائلين هوذا الملك جالس في الباب. فأتى جميع الشعب امام الملك. واما اسرائيل فهربوا كل واحد الى خيمته

Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. And they told unto all the people, saying, Behold, the king doth sit in the gate. And all the people came before the king: for Israel had fled every man to his tent.
