Kralın kendilerini dinlemediğini görünce, bütün İsrailliler, "İşay oğlu Davutla ne ilgimiz,Ne de payımız var!" diye bağırdılar,"Ey İsrail halkı, haydi evimize dönelim!Davutun soyu başının çaresine baksın."

فلما رأى كل اسرائيل ان الملك لم يسمع لهم جاوب الشعب الملك قائلين اي قسم لنا في داود ولا نصيب لنا في ابن يسّى. كل واحد الى خيمته يا اسرائيل. الآن انظر الى بيتك يا داود. وذهب كل اسرائيل الى خيامهم.

İngilizce: 

And when all Israel saw that the king would not hearken unto them, the people answered the king, saying, What portion have we in David? and we have none inheritance in the son of Jesse: every man to your tents, O Israel: and now, David, see to thine own house. So all Israel went to their tents.

Et quand tout Israël vit que le roi ne les écoutait point, le peuple répondit au roi, en disant: Quelle part avons-nous avec David? Nous n'avons point d'héritage avec le fils d'Isaï. Israël, chacun à ses tentes! Maintenant, David, pourvois à ta maison. Ainsi tout Israël s'en alla dans ses tentes.

And all Israel have seen that the king hath not hearkened to them, and the people send back to the king, saying, 'What portion have we in David? yea, there is no inheritance in a son of Jesse; each to thy tents, O Israel; now, see thy house — David,' and all Israel go to their tents.
