Bundan sonra Davut, daha ileriye gidemeyecek kadar bitkin düşüp Besor Vadisinde kalan iki yüz kişinin bulunduğu yere vardı. Onlar da Davutla yanındakileri karşılamaya çıktılar. Davut yaklaşınca onlara esenlik diledi.

وجاء داود الى مئتي الرجل الذين اعيوا عن الذهاب وراء داود فأرجعهم في وادي البسور فخرجوا للقاء داود ولقاء الشعب الذين معه. فتقدم داود الى القوم وسأل عن سلامتهم.

And David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not follow David, whom they had made also to abide at the brook Besor: and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that were with him: and when David came near to the people, he saluted them.
