O yılın yedinci ayında kral soyundan Elişama oğlu Netanya oğlu İsmail on adamıyla birlikte Mispaya gidip Gedalyayı öldürdü. Ayrıca, Gedalyayı destekleyen Yahudileri ve Kildanileri de kılıçtan geçirdi.
