فسأل داود من الله قائلا أأصعد على الفلسطينيين فتدفعهم ليدي. فقال له الرب اصعد فادفعهم ليدك.

Davut Tanrıya danıştı: "Filistlilere saldırayım mı? Onları elime teslim edecek misin?" RAB, "Saldır" dedi, "Onları eline teslim edeceğim."

And David inquired of God, saying, Shall I go up against the Philistines? and wilt thou deliver them into mine hand? And the LORD said unto him, Go up; for I will deliver them into thine hand.
