Dağların köklerine kadar battım,Dünya sonsuza dek sürgülendi arkamdan;Ama, ya RAB, Tanrım,Canımı sen kurtardın çukurdan.

I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars was about me for ever: yet hast thou brought up my life from corruption, O LORD my God.

Yunus RABbin sözü uyarınca kalkıp Ninovaya gitti. Ninova öyle büyük bir kentti ki, ancak üç günde dolaşılabilirdi.

So Jonah arose, and went unto Nineveh, according to the word of the LORD. Now Nineveh was an exceeding great city of three days' journey.

Jonas se leva donc et alla à Ninive, suivant l'ordre de l'Éternel. Or Ninive était une grande ville devant Dieu, de trois journées de marche.
