منذ ايام آبائنا نحن في اثم عظيم الى هذا اليوم. ولاجل ذنوبنا قد دفعنا نحن وملوكنا وكهنتنا ليد ملوك الاراضي للسيف والسبي والنهب وخزي الوجوه كهذا اليوم.

Atalarımızın günlerinden bugüne dek suçlarımız içinde boğulduk. Günahlarımız yüzünden biz de, krallarımızla kâhinlerimiz de yabancı kralların eline teslim edildik. Kılıçtan geçirildik, sürgüne gönderildik. Yağmalandık. Bugün de olduğu gibi aşağılandık.
