وخرج واحد الى الحقل ليلتقط بقولا فوجد يقطينا بريا فالتقط منه قثاء بريا ملء ثوبه وأتى وقطعه في قدر السليقة. لانهم لم يعرفوا.

Biri ot toplamak için tarlaya gitti ve yabanıl bir bitki buldu. Bitkiden bir etek dolusu yaban kabağı topladı, getirip tencereye doğradı. Bunların ne olduğunu kimse bilmiyordu.

And one went out into the field to gather herbs, and found a wild vine, and gathered thereof wild gourds his lap full, and came and shred them into the pot of pottage: for they knew them not.
