45 |
Then Moses threw his staff, and at once it devoured what they falsified. |
فَأَلْقَىٰ مُوسَىٰ عَصَاهُ فَإِذَا هِيَ تَلْقَفُ مَا يَأْفِكُونَ |

46 |
So the magicians fell down in prostration [to Allah]. |
فَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سَاجِدِينَ |
2 978 |
|
47 |
They said, "We have believed in the Lord of the worlds, |
قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ |
2 979 |
|
48 |
The Lord of Moses and Aaron." |
رَبِّ مُوسَىٰ وَهَارُونَ |
2 980 |
|
49 |
[Pharaoh] said, "You believed Moses before I gave you permission. Indeed, he is your leader who has taught you magic, but you are going to know. I will surely cut off your hands and your feet on opposite sides, and I will surely crucify you all." |
قَالَ آمَنتُمْ لَهُ قَبْلَ أَنْ آذَنَ لَكُمْ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكَبِيرُكُمُ الَّذِي عَلَّمَكُمُ السِّحْرَ فَلَسَوْفَ تَعْلَمُونَ ۚ لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ أَيْدِيَكُمْ وَأَرْجُلَكُم مِّنْ خِلَافٍ وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ |

50 |
They said, "No harm. Indeed, to our Lord we will return. |
قَالُوا لَا ضَيْرَ ۖ إِنَّا إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا مُنقَلِبُونَ |
2 982 |
|
51 |
Indeed, we aspire that our Lord will forgive us our sins because we were the first of the believers." |
إِنَّا نَطْمَعُ أَن يَغْفِرَ لَنَا رَبُّنَا خَطَايَانَا أَن كُنَّا أَوَّلَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ |

52 |
And We inspired to Moses, "Travel by night with My servants; indeed, you will be pursued." |
۞ وَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنْ أَسْرِ بِعِبَادِي إِنَّكُم مُّتَّبَعُونَ |
2 984 |

53 |
Then Pharaoh sent among the cities gatherers |
فَأَرْسَلَ فِرْعَوْنُ فِي الْمَدَائِنِ حَاشِرِينَ |
2 985 |
|
54 |
[And said], "Indeed, those are but a small band, |
إِنَّ هَٰؤُلَاءِ لَشِرْذِمَةٌ قَلِيلُونَ |
2 986 |
|
55 |
And indeed, they are enraging us, |
وَإِنَّهُمْ لَنَا لَغَائِظُونَ |
2 987 |
|
56 |
And indeed, we are a cautious society... " |
وَإِنَّا لَجَمِيعٌ حَاذِرُونَ |
2 988 |
|
57 |
So We removed them from gardens and springs |
فَأَخْرَجْنَاهُم مِّن جَنَّاتٍ وَعُيُونٍ |
2 989 |
|
58 |
And treasures and honorable station - |
وَكُنُوزٍ وَمَقَامٍ كَرِيمٍ |
2 990 |
|
59 |
Thus. And We caused to inherit it the Children of Israel. |
كَذَٰلِكَ وَأَوْرَثْنَاهَا بَنِي إِسْرَائِيلَ |
2 991 |
|
60 |
So they pursued them at sunrise. |
فَأَتْبَعُوهُم مُّشْرِقِينَ |
2 992 |
|
61 |
And when the two companies saw one another, the companions of Moses said, "Indeed, we are to be overtaken!" |
فَلَمَّا تَرَاءَى الْجَمْعَانِ قَالَ أَصْحَابُ مُوسَىٰ إِنَّا لَمُدْرَكُونَ |

|
62 |
[Moses] said, "No! Indeed, with me is my Lord; He will guide me." |
قَالَ كَلَّا ۖ إِنَّ مَعِيَ رَبِّي سَيَهْدِينِ |
2 994 |
|
63 |
Then We inspired to Moses, "Strike with your staff the sea," and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. |
فَأَوْحَيْنَا إِلَىٰ مُوسَىٰ أَنِ اضْرِب بِّعَصَاكَ الْبَحْرَ ۖ فَانفَلَقَ فَكَانَ كُلُّ فِرْقٍ كَالطَّوْدِ الْعَظِيمِ |

64 |
And We advanced thereto the pursuers. |
وَأَزْلَفْنَا ثَمَّ الْآخَرِينَ |
2 996 |
|
65 |
And We saved Moses and those with him, all together. |
وَأَنجَيْنَا مُوسَىٰ وَمَن مَّعَهُ أَجْمَعِينَ |
2 997 |
|
66 |
Then We drowned the others. |
ثُمَّ أَغْرَقْنَا الْآخَرِينَ |
2 998 |
|
67 |
Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers. |
إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَةً ۖ وَمَا كَانَ أَكْثَرُهُم مُّؤْمِنِينَ |
2 999 |
|
68 |
And indeed, your Lord - He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. |
وَإِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَهُوَ الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ |
3 000 |
|
69 |
And recite to them the news of Abraham, |
وَاتْلُ عَلَيْهِمْ نَبَأَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ |
3 001 |
|
70 |
When he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship?" |
إِذْ قَالَ لِأَبِيهِ وَقَوْمِهِ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ |
3 002 |
|
71 |
They said, "We worship idols and remain to them devoted." |
قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَاكِفِينَ |
3 003 |
|
72 |
He said, "Do they hear you when you supplicate? |
قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ |
3 004 |
|
73 |
Or do they benefit you, or do they harm?" |
أَوْ يَنفَعُونَكُمْ أَوْ يَضُرُّونَ |
3 005 |
|
74 |
They said, "But we found our fathers doing thus." |
قَالُوا بَلْ وَجَدْنَا آبَاءَنَا كَذَٰلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ |
3 006 |
|
75 |
He said, "Then do you see what you have been worshipping, |
قَالَ أَفَرَأَيْتُم مَّا كُنتُمْ تَعْبُدُونَ |
3 007 |
|
76 |
You and your ancient forefathers? |
أَنتُمْ وَآبَاؤُكُمُ الْأَقْدَمُونَ |
