لما أتيت بهم الى الارض التي رفعت لهم يدي لاعطيهم اياها فرأوا كل تل عال وكل شجرة غبياء فذبحوا هناك ذبائحهم وقربوا هناك قرابينهم المغيظة وقدموا هناك روائح سرورهم وسكبوا هناك سكائبهم.

Kendilerine vermeye ant içtiğim ülkeye onları getirdiğimde, gördükleri her yüksek tepede, sık yapraklı her ağacın altında kurbanlarını kestiler. Beni öfkelendiren sunularını, güzel kokulu sunularıyla dökmelik sunularını orada sundular.

For when I had brought them into the land, for the which I lifted up mine hand to give it to them, then they saw every high hill, and all the thick trees, and they offered there their sacrifices, and there they presented the provocation of their offering: there also they made their sweet savour, and poured out there their drink offerings.
