Bu yüzden ona büyük bir oda vermişti. Eskiden bu odaya tahıl sunuları, günnük, tapınak eşyaları, ayrıca Kutsal Yasa uyarınca Levililere, ezgicilere, tapınak kapı nöbetçilerine verilen buğdayın, yeni şarabın, zeytinyağının ondalıkları ve kâhinlere verilen bağışlar konulurdu.
