وقال ليهوذا لنبن هذه المدن ونحوّطها باسوار وابراج وابواب وعوارض ما دامت الارض امامنا لاننا قد طلبنا الرب الهنا. طلبناه فاراحنا من كل جهة. فبنوا ونجحوا.
Türkçe:
Asa Yahudalılara, "Bu kentleri onaralım" dedi, "Onları surlarla kuşatıp kulelerle, kapılarla, sürgülerle güçlendirelim. Ülke hâlâ bizim elimizde, çünkü Tanrımız RABbe yöneldik, O da bizi her yandan esenlikle kuşattı." Böylece yapım işlerini başarıyla bitirdiler.

Therefore he said unto Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered.
